The Juniper Hills and Cima Mesa Community Association was established on June 16, 1948, “to bring together neighbors and property owners in an area of our country that is singularly blessed with natural beauty. We resolve to preserve and protect the rural character of our neighborhood, and to support the peace, tranquility, and harmonious human relations of the community” (by-laws of the Juniper Hills and Cima Mesa Community Association).

In 1962 we changed our name to Juniper Hills Community Association.
